So they send you home with a door?
does that come with the hinges?

I guess that might be worth something if you happen to need one...
LOL!

You are either insane or just a very good musician...
I am guess probably a nice blend of both...

good luck with that, too!

It's a classic venue,
I remember just a year ago some guys on the RMMJG newsgroup went to the
Potato on any old night and had a nice surprise when Ted Greene showed up
and sat in. A rare treat indeed, since only one or two recordings of him
have ever been published and none of them are his own titles. Man, we should
all pitch in and buy him Cubase SX3 or something...

Also Holdsworth was just there and man, I wish I could have seen that.
When I lived in LA you could see just about everything... everyone who was
anyone would play in LA soonor or later. Holdsworth lived less than a mile
from me and I'd see him all over the place, the liquor store, the hardware
store the movies... Can you imagine... Holdsworth... just a regular guy? NO
WAY!!!!

Here in Portland Oregon, it's like a no-man's-land for national music. I
am going to see Tuck and Patti at the Aladdin Theater on Monday night.
www.aladdin-theater.com

They haven't been here in Portland for three years and when they finally
come here it's only for a monday night...
Sheee-it, I am going to miss muh fuhtbawl!

Go Beavers!

I will, my friend, thank you!
Does he know you?
Can you offer any help locating him?
All I can find on the web is geologist Charlie Steen "The Uranium King."
lol!
and a coupla Chuck Steens

I am looking for a few talented players to do some casuals in and around
this area. I've located a fine female vocalist and an excellent jazz drummer
and am looking to build a nice jazz combo around the vocalist.

What is his primary instrument? I'm not sure where to look for him?
musician's union?

Thanks Terry,
Vin

I'll see if I can find his card.
Charlie plays Guitar his wife is keyboardist Sydney Leyham
not sure about spelling, she is a casual and great jazz player
Charlie also. Charlie was on of the first people I met we all came here to
LA in the early 80's
Hey good luck with the band.....it is always tough keeping a group together
but it sure can be rewarding.
