I've re-fitted an aged JVC X2 MM cartridge in my Mayware arm and am
amazed to re-discover how good it sounds after 25 years of lying idle.
I have no instructions or data for it at all and, after a ot of
trawling on the net, can find none, so I am seeking help here:
Tracking force? (I think it may be something lowish, like 1.3gm and
this does sound pretty good at a first hearing wiht no evidence of
mistracking the really difficult stuff.)
Load capacitance (Load resistance is the standard 47Kohm for a MM
cartridge but it's the optimum parallel load capacitance I need to
know).
If the compliance figure is known, that would also be useful to have.
Many thanks in hopeful anticipation that someone out there knows
something about this cartridge and can assist.
