It all depends on what kind of audio outputs are available on your TV.
If you have a pair of (red and white) RCA phono jacks, you're good to
go. Check your local pawn shops and watch your local Craigslist for a
receiver that has aux and/or tape inputs, and has around 50
watts(plus/minus) speaker output. You can probably find something well
under a hundred dollars.
Be sure to listen to it and hear both left and right channels before you
buy. Do your research before you buy something older than 1980's vintage.
