I have 2 small Bose speakers- Bose 201 Series IV. I need a receiver so I can
hook them to my TV. I'm looking for a receiver that will serve this purpose
but don't need any special features- just something that will work well with
those speakers for this purpose and will last awhile, so I'm not looking for
junk but a long lasting product.

I really have no clue about this as I haven't bought audio equipment since
the '80s.

I don't even have a clue where to shop.

Suggestions will be appreciated.
Joe

It all depends on what kind of audio outputs are available on your TV.

If you have a pair of (red and white) RCA phono jacks, you're good to
go. Check your local pawn shops and watch your local Craigslist for a
receiver that has aux and/or tape inputs, and has around 50
watts(plus/minus) speaker output. You can probably find something well
under a hundred dollars.

Be sure to listen to it and hear both left and right channels before you
buy. Do your research before you buy something older than 1980's vintage.
