Stand alone WAV or MP3 player for courtroom use

I need to know if there is a product that will meet this need. In our
business we often take taped statements and from time to time may need
to use these in court for various reasons such as a witness changing
testimony. The best choice is to have the statement transcribed but
there are times when economics do not allow this.

I am wondering if there is a stand alone WAV or MP3 player that works
similar to an analog tape player i.e. that can fastforward or rewind
to a particular spot while being held near the witness so the witness
can hear. The problem with analog tapes is that it takes too much
time to get to the relevant portions of the tape. You have to stand
there with your finger on the rewind or FF button and wait. I suppose
I could drag my notebook up there but I would prefer a dedicated
device for this purpose.

Thanks
