Golden Glory from Badger Ales, mmmm, used to live just across the river from the brewery. Also, Pigs Ear from Uley Brewery, though not had that one for a long time cos I moved away from Glos.

Badger Ales are still going strong - they make Tanglefoot as well and various other ales, I'm sure that Golden Glory is still available though not so sure how many pubs outside Dorset would have in on tap (seen it bottled in Tesco though). I don't live there any more so only get it down my neck when I go back to Blandford occasionally.

Uley brewery still makes Old Spot, Pigs Ear etc. Again, probably not sold too far afield from Glos, but have seen it at beer festivals. Worth a visit to the Stroud area just to seek it out Nando - it's a beautiful part of the country, where I grew up.

Not many pubs serve it but it is worth finding. A nice mellow pint.

Some good pubs in Bristol for ale drinkers.

nando, some fairly good cider pubs in Bristol aswell if ever you fancy the fermented apple.

Just make sure they are not too far from your hotel ;)

Better ciders to had than Taunton, get out on the mendips and pick up a farm brewed one, that'll turn yer eyes inside out and put a complete new view on the world!
