Ubuntu Scores again!

Failed HDD in Sony Vaio.
Vista couldn't read it ... XP forund and fixed over 100,000 errors
with chkdsk /f ... but still couldn't browse it to get data.

Ubuntu Feitsy live CD didn't care a bit ... I recovered all data.

Installing Linux isn't an option for these clients machines.

Yeah, twatsky, ****ed-up old-school will get you half way there on a lot
of things...

How's that SUSE live CD thing coming? Ubuntu has the smart developers
working on it and honing its abilities constantly whereas SUSE has
half-assed folks like *you*. :-D

I've probably had 2 or 3 more good rescues with Ubuntu since this thread was started.
