This guy's a bit harsh on Bush, the Neds and Jesus Jones isn't he?

So who gives a toss that Jesus Jones' Doubt is 12 years old and sounds it - it still wees all over crap like Simply Red's Stars from the same year...

And how can you miss with that awesome bass twiddliness on Kill your television by the Neds???

So I'm biased though - I got God Fodder AND Doubt for a quid the pair - mint, on vinyl :)

Now - what's with bashing Radiohead's Pablo Honey? It's the only album they've released where all the songs are unpretentious and you still have the will to live at the end... I'm surprised Glastonbury had anyone left alive by the end of their set on the Saturday - thank god for the Super Furries... (and note - I do actually quite like the latest Radiohead, and OK Computer wasn't too bad. Amnesiac and Kid A though - do me a favour!!!)

My brother seen Ned's play quite a few years back.

Someone threw up on his trainers.

    He wasn't happy.

Niether do I, nor have I ever owned any of them. :MILD:

Strange how (almost) everything on that list seems to be from the same era and could almost be lumped into an overall genre umbrella: "90's Student Common Room Music" - as most of that kind of stuff I remember hearing whilst at college/uni coming from the union bar/common areas/halls. :)

Complaint rock (classic phrase) is one of the genres in the mish-mash that I'd put under the umbrella of "90's student music", but there's a load of other genres I'd lump in there too (hence my made up genre superset) e.g. the stuff coming out of Manchester in the 90's Brit-pop/indie bands which were also much beloved of students of the day.

Clueless... Alicia Silverstone.... what a babe, phwooar!! :p <--- me licking lips...

He he he - that's a quote from Clueless - me, I like that style of music. Especially "student" early 90s indie :)

And yeah, Alicia Silverstone - the bit in Clueless when they're playing "Change" by the Lightning Seeds - oh man, those legs in those thigh length boots... aaaaaaahhhhhhhhh :D :D :D :MILD:

Yeah she does (I think) - think she MIGHT have one on in aforementioned boots/Lightning Seeds clip - might have to root out the laserdisc and check :)

And yeah, she has an ace nose as well ;) He he he...

Miss piggy is often seen complete with nose and hat! Perhaps you tell her it'd be a good way to get Kermit jealous! ;)

Not with a nose like her's - she's one for the "sumo culture" - certainly not my type. OK so one of my ex's was fairly large, but at least she was human ;)
