I believe they use these modules to drive the subs they produce.
You can source the module (else its something incredably similar) in the states for $340-$400 I've been reliably informed :)

if there like there other power amp modules then they'll be good value for the money, ive used quite a few of there mosfet modules on varies systems over the years, some are over 15 years old and are still being used regulary to run stage monitors

i might invest in a pair of these for my upcoming project :)

if i'm not mistaken (as it doesn't list in specs), the input connector is an XLR/Jack multi-thingiby-jigger? ie, it will take either.

    just making sure :)

Proac have been playing with these recently, even using them to power the mighty D100's to good effect.

    They are a veritable bargain!

    they look really interesting.

one day (if I ever move to a bigger lounge) I intend to do-a-merlin! and build some top subs... I think these would work well for that..? Do people think they would work as active modules screwed into sub cabs?

    Chris,

I'm sure they'd be superb - although i'd leave them outside the cab. I've reacently heard a number of Class D amps performing bass duties and of course am using one myself) and they all excel with tremendous control and pitch definition.

The new Tact SDA is quite remarkable for the money (about £800)
