Most of the article is regurgitated from other sources, If I'm not mistaken, but is still thoroughly enjoyable/smug reading :D.

Quite frankly - Bose are sh*te and always have been.

    Heheheheh, that's great :D I especially like the bit about the speakers being rated at 280Hz - 13KHz +/- 10.5 dB :p

Whilst B&O might have many products that are more style than substance at least they actually have style (where Bose doesn't) and there products aren't in fact that bad. Their "statement" BeoLab (or whatever their called) speakers (aobut £10K  ) were reasonably well reviewed in the press.

They also make the PWM Class D amp modules for the latest line of Jeff Rowland amps.

LOL about the Bose site though :D A friend of mine has a system of Arcam Alpha 9 CDP and amp and he uses Bose Acoustimass speakers

I have a theory about Bose that probably works. You can go into a bar with your eyes shut listen to the music and know if it sounds awful it must be Bose.

I am just amazed Bose has a good reputation with the general public considering most their stuff is expensive crap (purely in my opinion of course).

I went to a catering exhibition and bose were there trying to flog the bose clock radio for hotel rooms.

He ad some music goind and I thought that for the size if wasn't bad at all, a fair amount of bass etc.

On closer inspection two leads protruded from the back a black and red lead, the input read 'line out'

The bose radio sat on a tall stand where the lead went into.

I didn't bother causing a scene but there was no mention of radio with sub, and I can only assume thats were the leads were going, not very fair IMO

A friend recently showed off his PrideandjoyBosebolloxbox. It was truly the direst sound I'd ever heard. Far worse than my 1986 Sony Digicube, for example.
