Very neutral natural sounding standmounters. Rich natural organic sound, none of yer boom'n'tizz of the prevalent fashion for shouty artificial sounding things. Reason for selling...once again I'm staying in the ATC family, going for the active version of the same speaker (once I find a pair!). Low sensitivity, but easy impedence so not difficult to drive, however my experience is that they will not get out of bed for less than 100W of power. Unburstable, will play as loud as anyone can stand, but still full of grace and delicacy at low volume too (which is where my volume control is most of the time). Very heavy - 24kg each, beautifully finished dark cherry cabinets. Looking for £1100. These are about £2.5k new. In life they are not as 'orangey' as these pictures taken in artificial light.
