Hi, I was looking for a cheap source of buying new kit and I stumbled across this url -
http://www.governmentauctionsuk.com/
they claim that you can get stuff 97% cheaper...hmm...what do you think..?
do you know any others..?

I think what puts me off is that a lot of stuff comes from council houses..? hmm...can't imagine there'd be any krell amps in there...

I've seen these advertised several times now in papers, big issue, flyers and such.

Not sure about it myself. Often hear people talking about ow cheap you can get stuff, but no one ever seems to have ever used them. I'm also not to trusting of somewhere that won't even let you see the auctions or even a small example, before you pay to become a member. Tell you what, you take the gamble and let us know how you get on

I wou8ld imagine of the government or police were involved the site would look slightly better than it currently does. Smells like shit to me. I notice you need to buy a book for instance.

Its just one of them scams where you pay £20 or what ever it is for a book then they will send you a list of auction houses in the UK. I smell a rat, avoid. True bargains are very rare.
