audio synthesis desire decade

Anyone have any experience with AS desire decade?

I am on the hunt for a new amp (the electrocomps have gone!), but I have never heard any AS stuff. What is the AS house sound? dull and lifeless? prat? imaging? bass? etc?

any info greatly appreciated.

a/s is usually pretty transparent. certainly whenever i think i've got my decade's character pinned down i find that i was wrong. not sure about their amps though. they always seem to play second fiddle in reviews to the dacs and pre's. still hightly parised so worth a listen.
