Hi there! Quite recently I had my HP broken so I've bought a Dell Latitude.

The old HP has never had any problem to record or playback songs with an Yamaha Audiogram 6, but, this brand new laptop presents lots of stutters during record and playback.

In contact with Yamaha Tech Support, I got this: the Dell Latitude's chipset is incompatible to the Audiogram's one.

Please, does anyone had already seen this problem? Would you have any idea on how to solve this?

Thanks a lot for any help!

wow! Nobody! Things are slow here or my question is too hard?

    So, I found something interesting...

    DPC Latency Checker

    In this document,

    http://www.thesycon.de/dpclat/dpclat.pdf

they explain what is the DPC (Deferred Procedure Calls) - the free software is pretty interesting.

DPC is exactly what my computer is experimenting.

    Any info to exchange?
