balanced inputs

    I was thinking about upgrading my amp, i was wondering if i could fit a balanced input onto a pre amp.

    yep dead easy just use a transformer or some electronics if your up a bit of soldering,both have there plus and minus points its up to you to decide wish way to go,transformers can be expensive if you start looking at the exotic top spec stuff,
    ive used RS 210-6352 for a couple of projects and theve been fine,even with line level sources (may need a resitor in line with input,i didnt have one to hand so didnt bother,aint had a proplem yet),
    for electronics solutions the choice is wider theres dedicated ic's that will do everything or you could use a couple of op amps,get more fansey and use transistors or even valves :D )
