BAT (Balanced Audio Technology) VK-42SE preamp. Top of their superb Solid State range

    BAT VK-42SE

    Their latest design - solid state reliability and dynamics paired with oil filled resistors for smoother valve like bloom, but subtle and without the overly romantic or dark valve sound - sounds closer to the Rex £18k preamp at the top of the line.

    42SE is top of the BAT Solid State line.

    Plenty of glowing reviews out there - I chose this over the 52SE for extended lower end and better micro and macro dynamics.
    Great user interface too.

    Less than 2 years old - absolutely mint - all packaging, remote etc. Balanced and SE in/outs

    Cost £6850 - sell for just £2995.
