It should not be too difficult but if your having to ask......etc

You need the schematics to see if its an easy conversion.

Why not look to go 230vac to 110vac using a step down converter you just need a heffty one to get the current.

I `kind of` know, being an Evo2i owner I am aware that to change a 2i`s voltage it`s a case of simply taking off the lid moving 2 connectors over on the circuit board. Depending on the position the connectors are plugged in on the circuit determines the voltage input configuration, The Evo2i allows configuration for 110, 120, 220, 230 and 240V. I just wanted confirmation that the Pl2 is the same.
it`s an expensive purchase and I don`t want ot get it wrong but WM `aint saying so anyone else know for sure? I don`t wanna rush in where angels fear to tread, what`s the saying....Buy in haste repent at liesure!
Come on fella`s someone must know!!!!!???????

Dunno about the PL2, but I have heard its close relation the PL1A
this was a grey unit from the Canada, may well be from the same scorce as the unit you have in mind the unit worked fine without any PSU mods & played region 2 disc despite have region 1 on the back..........compared very well to the Teac DV50 owned at the time.......worst case you could buy a PS Audio P300 mains regen unit for about $500 and then you will have quality mains power as a bonus
