Hi all I am new to this group and find it interesting.
Is anyone familiar with a beyerdynamic M260N(C).2. I bought it new around 1974. It has an XLR connection. It has a red dot on the body and a 3 position rotary ring near the bottom. One postion has the letter M with a green line below it on the ring, the center position has and a red dash on the rotating ring, the other postion has the letter S and a red line on the ring. they are rotated to line up with the red dot on the body. Serial# is 15528. Does anyone know the purpose of these? I use it with flute and it sounds great. Is it valuable?

    Thanks,
    Henry Rancourt
