Brass

Anyone know a good place to obtain brass?
I am looking for some 2"dia and 4 - 4.5" dia brass bar.

I have found a few stockists, but the prices are scarey.

Of 2" dia - about 1 foot (1" dia would do at a push)

4" or 4.5" dia - 6"

Not massive amount, but to buy off the shelf is daft money.

 

Wasn't the traditional way of finding brass to look for muck?

yea, 4" is too big for 'em

 

loads of top brass in the army

 

how much is it off the shelf?

 

nearly 200 quid with delivery, from the only place i found with an online quote system.

4" round brass bar £10 per linear inch

So I would think you could get the lot for under £100.
