Canon EOS D30 digital SLR Body

The legendary D30. 3MP of canon CMOS smoothness, and access to the largest AF lens system on the market. All mod cons.

This camera is in good condition, and I've owned it for two years. Comes with all accessories (strap, dual charger/mains psu, connecting cable, TV cable, book of words). There are no faults with it, and it will come with canon BP-511 and one generic battery.

If I'm EXTREMELY critcal, the camera body has a few very minor scratches (what do you expect of a camera that has been used?) and the hotshoe is losing very small amounts of paint around the edges (again, what do you expect?).

I have not used this camera outside in adverse conditions as it was mainly bought for indoor work anyway. It's been out on a few nice days, never in the rain.

Reason for sale: Funding EOS 20D purchase.

    Lens not included.

    £300

Isaac, have you tried posting it on a photography forum like the ameteur photographer one? Canon gear is popular over there

Shrink - if you could say 100% that you wanted it, no probs waiting, as long as the whole thing is done by april 20th.

Correct, digital SLR. You will need a lens, as I'm not selling any of mine.

i assume that the fitting is likely to be the same?

To a point. The 350D has the EF-S mount, while the D30 has the EF mount. All EF lenses will work on both cameras, but EF-S lenses (of which there are about 5 currently) not fit on the D30.

thats totally amazing.... hmm i want !!! :)

been trying to get into proper photography for ages.. was about to go buy a 35mm SLR (my mate can get me one the same as his for about £20 on the sly)

but id really prefer to go digital.

im afraid im gonna have to wait until the 8th mate. I hope you get a good owner to take it before then.. if not i'll see what i can do

Apologies for the shocking quality of the webcam images, but trying to take pics of a digital camera is not so easy...

Isaac, that's enough hard sell, leave the poor bloke alone. :)

I'm sure you've been told this before but you have a good eye, that's a great shot.

issac... i hate to say this :-S but unfortunately i have to...

ive been informed by my mate (who works for kodak digital) that with modern technology as it is.. i can get a camera thats capable of as good images if not better for less money than that... and new :(

i realise the flexibility that SLR offers and for someone needing all that its proabbly a good deal.. but until i establish the kind of photographs im taking... im as well to stick to lower priced alternatives.

its a hard fact that digital photography has become alarmingly cheap since that canon was released :(

sorry dude... but i hope it finds a good home... and that someone takes photos with the skill that you have.

The "capable of as good images if not better for less money" is debatable because an SLR is capable of things that no p&s, no matter how good, is. Hope you find something that suits you though.
