    Hot hot hot!!!

Before it gets unbearable I *NEED* to get a ceiling fan/light.

Anyone recommend one? I want one that's reasonably quiet, which is obviously hard to know without buying and installing it first.

The obvious place seems like Argos, but again, I'd like to know of anyones experiences first.

    Cheers

    MO :)

I fit them in conservatory's and I have had numerous problems with the cheap ones (the bearings go and they burn out when left on too long etc) I would reccomend buying one from a specalist lighting store for maybe £150 - £300 for a decent one.

I always google the part number before I buy such things as usually someone has had a moan if it is crap if nothing comes up then I assume it must be ok.:)

Can you recommend one at the lower end of that budget?

    Pref' something wood.

It's only for a bedroom so doesn't need to be a MOnster, but certainly want something that'll get the air shifting.

I can't really recommend one in particular but this place looks like they sell pretty good ones and in the price range you want.
plus they have a 10 year guarantee, I guess they wouldn't guarantee rubbish have a look. http://www.eurofanstore.co.uk/

They don't do a lot anyway there are three in our house (were here when we got here) and are more of a distraction than useful.
