Coining the acronym DAVE for Digital to Analogue Veritas in Extremis the DAVE is the replacement for the legendary QBD76 HDSD DAC and features the same Spartan family chipset as the award winning Hugo. This time the LX75 version of the Spartan 6 FPGA has been used and features a mere 166000 taps with 166 seperate DSP cores to cope with the data and WTA filters that have been used.
