    Hi,

Anyone had any experience with the Croft 'integrated preamplifier' from the mid 80's? It was supposed to be the model up from the Super Micro. I've bought one (2nd hand, obviously) and am waiting for it to arrive via the post, and just wondered if anyone had any strong feelings about them.

I'm quite excited about getting it as I've been without a phono stage for a few months since I got rid of my last integrated amp, and the Croft has a MM and MC stage, can't wait to dig out a few LPs.

'Integrated' strikes me as a dumb name for a preamp tho'. :MILD:

its a very good amp, have used lots of Glenns amps over the years. Its worth buying just for the phono stagenot sure if it has both mm mc I thought they just came with the one you ordered when buying

Knowing how its built, I might be wrong but I am not sure how you could build it with both mm mc Croft designs are too simple for that

Glad to hear a good review of it, I've read good stuff on the eminent audio page but as they sell croft gear.........

I've seen pics of the amp and it does appear to have both mm and mc, but I shall find out for sure in a couple of days. I can't wait to be honest, in fact I'm pathetically excited..... as I always am whenever I buy some new kit!
