DIY Racks

    I haven't actually looked under the components but I don't think so, I'll have a check when I get home.
    Oiling is the only way to go though...looks so much better than varnish which makes wood look cheap and tacky imo.
    What wood you using mark?

    My design is basically the RA design but made from MDF. Simple to build and easy to add extra shelves to. I didn't really like the look of the tnt one personally.
    Its overbuilt as I needed to be sure it'd take the weight of my TT, 50mm MDF (2*25mm with car bodyfiller to fill any gaps that would spoil the paint) on the three 'legs' and 15mm (ish) for the platforms. Its heavy.

    EDIT: Pics. The finish looks awful in these for some reason. Possibly my photography and the large amounts of dust that seems to stick to everything.

    i hadn't seen that "flexi-rack" page on tnt before, but it does seem strangly familiar.... :rolleyes: :D
