Hi again, A few months ago I wrote a request for recommondations for pepping up my Mission (cdp), sugden a28 (was Cyrus 1), Mordaunt Short MS20 combo, unfortunatley on a tight budget. Someone suggested fitting a DAC (Peter was that you?) as starters. Much research later and not after not a little trouble, I imported an Entech Number Cruncher DAC from the States. What a difference! I have played Clannads "Past Present" how many times before.........25-30? Listening to it today it sounded a totally different cd. Its as if the cd player was previously only picking up about 25% of the imformaton. ie I'm hearing in struments in the back groound that were prevoiously completely hidden and the whole thing is presented in a very smooth, pleasant fashion. I'm suitably impressed! So, whoever suggested this idea, thank you very much! Only trouble is i'm not getting any work done now! bfn, David
