    Teac Esoteric DV50 in Black.

Genuine 230v version with scart output as well as component etc.

Boxed in mint condition with unmarked metal remote and full print out of manual (original manual got damaged beyond repair)

Best CD player you'll find under £2000, plus of course it also plays SACD (exceptionally well), DVD-Audio (no discs so can't comment) and the icing on the cake it plays DVD-Video to a high standard. Perefct if you want to consolidate your hifi and av setups or just don't have space for more than one machine.

    Looking for £1600

Does it have Progressive scan 720P? and does it have a DVI output?

No DVI. Couldn't tell you about the 720p as I'm no videophile (suggest you check the reviews).

Bear in mind this is being sold predominantly on it's audio capabilities as a CD player. The DVD playback, whilst more than good enough to satisfy me on my 32" Sony LCD, was just an added bonus for me - for watching my Alan Partridge DVDs:D

If you want state of the art DVD playback I suggest you go for a new top of the range Denon or similar, but the audio quality will be a mile removed from this.

    LOL

    I'll offer £876.

In all seriousness, this is a great machine. I sold mine about 12 months ago for 1.6k, prices are very keen now though. £1295 is very, very cheap though...

The DV-50 is on ebay (£1200 start bid as I would rather keep it than sell it for less) ending on Monday evening, but I keep going on to ebay to end the auction as I might keep it - it depends on another auction of some speakers that I have my eye on that ends tonight.
