Hmmm. There are no posts by me in this thread. How strange!

Oh well. I have bought stuff from:

Wadia-miester - no problems here. Got a 'special' seismic sink and a Trichord Powerblock 1000 from Tony. He even delivered one item to me. What a gent!

John Hunt - bought my Van den Hul interconnects from John. They were sent promptly, appropriately packaged.

While I'm on the subject of recommendations:

Paul Green Hifi (Bath) - very helpful, decent chaps, no pressure, good after sales service, has even delivered stuff to my house *for demo*. Only minus mark is that they don't do Arcam but they do a lot of other good stuff. http://www.pghifi.demon.co.uk/

OK, I agreed a very good, knock-down fee for my CDT-2 with Ya-Boo back in January (21st). I have since held on to that unit and turned down several (higher) offers over the past 6 weeks, as a deal had been agreed. During this period I conacted Ya-Boo on a few occassions to see if any progress had been made regarding the funds. As he was waiting on the sale of his current CDP going through, I was happy enough to wait.

That is until now.

I have received little word from Ya-Boo despite sending emails (get your inbox emptied man :rolleyes: ) and any reply would simply indicate that "it's in the pipeline". I have now discovered that he has optioned another transport but neglected to do the decent thing and let me know.

I realise that some of you may have already had successful dealings with Ya-Boo but unfortunately for me - I have not.
