Forum problems?

Whenever the forum software encounters a database error it mails me and I've been getting about 1 every other day mostly but in the last couple of days there have been quite a few. They mostly arise because the forum software can't access the database (which is on another machine at my hosting place) and don't seem to be much of a problem...has anyone experienced anything odd? Losing posts etc?

I haven't, but just wanted to check it was all ok.

Nope, seems to be fine, no problems here.

If anything seems to be going better! I've lost many a post in the past by clicking send only to be asked to sign in again and then have to re write it. But in the last few days i've not had the problem once.

One of the settings in admin is wrong. It won't affect user performance, but it will bug the hell out of you. Same thing happened to me.
Sadly I can't remember which setting it is, and as I no longer possess vb, and all my mail was destroyed in the "Great Crash" I can't relly help. On the vBulletin forum they claim it is a badly setup server. This is a lie. It is a VB bug. But one that is easily remediable.
