Bit of a sideline, selling some old PC's

These are HP Brio's, Celeron 366, 128Mb RAM, 4Gb HDD, LAN etc.

I'm amazed at just how quiet these are, the only fan is in the PSU and it is almost silent!

Come pre-installed with damn small linux which includes word processor, spreadsheet, email, web browser etc. yet boots within 45 seconds!

    These are £25+postage

pm me if interested or email (andrew at audiofi.co.uk)

I'm not sure about the BIOS in the Compaq, but the CPU should probably overclock to 450Mhz without much trouble. :)

Having said that, if this is a slot 1 from Malaysia, it could well go over 600MHz ;)

Intel CPUs are great. My curent system is running a 2.8GHz p4 at 3.5GHz no problem, if my ram was faster it would do 3.8GHz.

Two are slot 1's, two are slot 370's

The Viglens are all slot 1's too

Perfect project for someone then, a Celeron 600Mhz near silent PC for £25!!!!

    btw....

BTW, if anybody needs a 1.4Ghz Celeron SLOT 1, let me know I have a few, brand spanking new, never used, for a ridiculously small fee (the retail around £90)
