I bought the above about a year ago with the intention of sending it off for service and fettling. However, I have not got around to it and to be fair it is unlikely I will anytime soon.

The TT is in good cosmetic condition and everything works. I cannot state with certainty that the bearing/idler wheel are perfect as I am not familiar with what is normal for the 401. It is the raised lettering model. I will try to answer any questions, but I am not an expert on 401's. In fact, whatever I now has come from posts on this forum.

The plinth is made of plywood with a suspended top shelf on half squash balls. I bought this seperatley and it is obviously a home made effort but not too bad.

Collection is advised from St Albans but shipping is possible although given the weight maybe expensive.

Please email [email protected] for pictures.

    401 price reduction

Now reduced to £125 to avoid ebay. A real bargain for someone.
