Gershwin - Rhapsody in Blue recommendations

    Can anyone recommend a good recording/version of Gershwin's 'Rhapsody in Blue' - preferrably as lively and dynamic as possible. Some versions I've heard tend to err on the sleepy side. Thanks! ;)

    Have a read through this Gershwin thread. I think you'll want Tilson Thomas or Litton.

    Thanks Graham - I think I'll take a stroll up to HMV / Virgin at lunchtime tomorrow and see what I can find.

    The Maazel / Ivan Davis is superb IMHO and there's plenty of other top-notch music on the CD including a terrific account of the Cuban Overture.
