Good pre-amp?

    HI, I'm new to the forum, and I'm looking for some opinions on a new pre-amp. I am currently using an Emotiva 200 watt per channel 5 channel amp, outlaw 970 pre-amp,NAD C541i cd player ,and klipsch RF7 11's speakers. I mostly listen to cd's, once in a while movies in 5 channel surround. I'm not real happy with the two channel stereo sound and I'm looking to get something better. I can go $1,ooo or so, anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!
