    Folks,

you all now know I listen to Late Junction most evenings but what do others listen to?

Please include a few details of the transmisstion and why you like the programme and then with any luck we should be able to build a "must listen to" of music for free!

    Hi

Here are some of the shows I have tuned into.

    1xtra. The Basement. Sunday 1200-1500.

A show where different DJs play every week a selection of some of their fave oldies. The music depends on the Djs that week but the styles cover Old skool hip hop, funk, soul, Jazz, Reggae, House & Rare Groove. Some big names from the world of Djing have taken part.

Radio 6. Six mix. Sunday 1900-2100 Repeated Saturday 0000-0200

A show that has a different DJ or DJs every week that spin an varied range of dance music. The music covers the widest range of dance styles possible. The DJs have free rain for the 2 hours. They have had people like Lemon Jelly, Tim 'Love' Lee, Mr Scruff, Fila Brizilla, Freddy Fresh & Gus Gus. They will be haveing people like Underworld & Nitin Sawnhey on soon .

Radio 6. Tom Robinson Evening Sequence. Weekdays 1900-2200.

A show that has a good range of styles of music. Quite Eclectic. Old & new stuff is played. Various sessions & guests are featured making it an interesting programme. It had my mate on last Thursday talking about his work with Nightmare on Wax.

Radio 6. Craig Charles. Funk show. Saturdays 1800-2100

A show that covers a wide range of funk & funk influenced music. There is a hammond organ feature every week. A good range of music to get on down to.
