I haven't been seriously into hi fi since the 70's and have a Luxman amp with separate tp 114 pre amp tuner combo and old Klipsch speakers.
Is there a way to add a digital signal receiver to play music other than LP's CD's and radio? I tried a cable that went from rca jacks to a newer tablet and it was terrible. Is there anything that sounds good or at least as good as earbuds through the tablet?

I have a thing called (I think) a jenga. Works the same as chromecast audio. Not sure who makes it but it was inexpensive, has line level phono outs and streams from a phone/tablet via bluetooth. But chromecast audio I am sure is similar
