Bah, why people have to do things like this i don't know.

Its like people who write computer viruses. WHY?!?

Whoa - serious stuff :eek:

Trouble is even if they backed it all up there is a clear security problem, which could quite easily be used to do it again (and again and again) until the holes are plugged :(

I cannot believe there isn't some sort of recovery procedure in place for ZG - if not, it's a certainly a heads-up, for this and any other forum.

Nothing is foolproof, but hopefully ours will be adequate enough for most eventualities...!
 
I have to ask though, if we do lose it all, would it really matter? We can probably re-create cable/mains and other foo foo wars very quickly.

James, having said all this I do feel for you and hope you get it running soon.

Thanks Dev, we got it back online almost straight away. We are hosted by the software providers and one of their servers was compromised. Lots of other BB's unrelated to mine got the same treatment. Thankfully there was a take of the server late last night so only this mornings ranting, blathering, over usage of smileys, arguments about cables, gratuitous laddishness and maybe one or perhaps even two useful items about HiFi were lost. :)

They fixed it, then decided to upgrade the server which buggered up the DNS. The board is actually up, your browser just can't find it.


ooohhh you gotta laugh.

How's everyone here any way? Not been in for ages. Do they have any guest ales?
