i would like to know how to make a new pair of balanced leads for my hifi

i have a resolution audio c.d player with balanced outputs and a digital volume control and a pair of atc active 50sl loudspeakers
    with a balanced input

i currently use some old leads someone made for me but tend to think i may be missing some of the nuances using these so would like to know how and what to use to make my own set

    cheers

pick a cable that suits your taste/wallet and solder a couple of xlrs's on ;) neutrek xlrs are a firm favorite,as foir cable 2 core screened is the main requirment,a decent mic cable works well, starquad if you can strech to £2 a meter, the conections on the xlrs are 2 + (red wire) 3 - (other wire) and 1 is the earth
