I'm planning on fiting my phono stage into a new enclosure of wood/copper. Part of the plan involves re-siteing the in/out phono plugs and so ill need longer hookup runs internally. I have some 4n silver sire, teflon tubeing and tinned copper braid. I was thinking of takeing 2 peices of the silver wire and insulating each with a length of teflon tube, then twisting them together and sleeving the lot with copper braid. Does this sound a good plan or are there other suggestions? I dont mind buying cable aslong as it is a worthwhile exercise, each run woud be around 4" long. Also looking for a supply of 1% 1W resistors and some good decoupling caps whilst the phono stage is apart:)
