I have noticed recently that my discs do not seem to record very well, a slurring of the sound is the main problem.

The discs are coming up to a year old, but have not been used a great deal, maybe 5-10 times.

Has anyone else suffered from this ?

I use a Philips DVD RW+ system, with Philips discs.

I don't know how long they last but I know they're not recommended to store vital data for long periods of time so they aren't the most robust things
