How to put a grittex finish on a pair of speakers ?

Hi all,

Does anyone have any experience with finishing speaker cabinets in the black crackly grittex finish some pro monitors, REL, and Acoustic Energy AE1's have ?

Do you buy some sort of paint , or is it some other sort of application to obtain this finish ?
 
It commonly referred to as 'Truck Bed Liner' in the states and its basically tough hardwearing enamel with sand mixed in.

I saw something similar in a spray can at my local Halford sometime ago now, can't remember much more than that, sorry.
