I heard a Tri-Vista CD, Tri-Vista amp (with big powersupply box) and Nautilus 802s.

A more limp and flaccid system I have not heard. Even my rotels/B&W grooved better during their off days (and are now significantly better than that). Supremely detailed, but no music. Hopefully the Thors and Proacs added more life to the system you heard...

Yipe  poor guy hope not :D "Hey Herik Larsoon is worth every penny of his £50k@week fee", help I sound like a mini MO
Well the only saving grace from the above system would be the Pro-ac's, I had a Thor Dac once, looked like a mixing bowel, sounded good in a serious hifi way :( not cheap either valve jobbie.
I think Kev you've found your ideal system now, just the £35k to accquire it, oh and a big room. WM

tone he said I could have the system for £30K...:D

yes the Pre- amp looked like a circular spaceship with a hole in the middle.......and the mono's look like round footpump's

personally I don't give a toss how/what it looks like as long as it
    sounds good

Not surprised, hfi is getting cheaper due to it 'niceness', well at least out of that lot the speakers are OK :)
There's a M/F CD 24 pre on hifi for sale for £1250 that might tickle your fancy. But you really need to sell those GR 20's to Matt F and get some B+W's that'll help your cause no end. WM

Yup, I'd agree with that. Loads of nice open spaces for the buffalo to roam but as much groove as a waxwork model of a not very groovy person with one leg. Even a Nait 3 was better ;)

    WTF.???

Those speakers are brilliant.......I,ll only change them for some pro-ac 3.8's .........and thats a bloody long way off

Tone just too clarify, I,m into music ,reproduced in a realistic way
not coloured to just sound "groovy"I like vocal's to sound "real" not " bouncy"

Speaker cables I,ve had a good listen to those transparent
    musicwave plus biwire......superb,
the monolith 20/20 was well .....in your face shall I say ,very very forward,If Isolda is similar I'll be giving that a miss in favor of the transparent stuff

Don't worry - it looks as though I have secured a pair of GR10's at a very good price :D

The sub (when it finally arrives) can take care of the low stuff, if necessary.
