I've just bought some heavily discounted of cuts of speaker cable for my parents system so I can have my old Gale XL315-2 back, but just before I do does anybody know how good the Ixos 610 is? This is the cable I have just bought, it was very cheap because it was old stock and an off cut.

I found out some info, on the net, its a pretty basic cable it normaly retails at £1 p/m so its one up from bell wire, it sounds better than bell wire though, its not as good as the XL315 though.

They work rather well on the system down stairs.

Yeah it wasn't the fact I didn't like the FFRC, it did have a rather detailed sound unmatched by the gales its just it was far to bright, it just always seemed as the sysyem was racing, the Gale's have smoothed things out a bit now. Also my system is now bi-wired again.
