    lovely classical proportions.

have now installed my stuff on post-Mana Hutter clutter - well, that's to knock it. The 7 pieces of pre-spiked Hutter look excellent - in two stacks. Even bought s/h though, and assuming that you have not charged yourself excessively for your labour as craftsman, I suppose your's may have cost less. As to +ve/-ve impact on SQ, I guess we will never know. I'll be reporting by Hutter/Mana thoughts once Alanbeeb and a few others have visited - nearest to blind-testing that we'll ever get.

but, am impressed, them stands look good.

I take it that you have a kind of sound-base under the stack. guarded by some strange toys!

Excellent, combining all the virtues of Fraim, Hutter, Isoblue and Mana in one simple package. (What can you do for the chest of drawers?)

Light and rigid construction, good looks and now with adjustable spikes too. Looking good.

What is the brightly lit thingy with what looks like anntenna at the back ? looks like some kind of Wi-Fi router or something.....

    Hi all,

I saw this thread and just though I'd share another Ikea find with you all. Bought it the other day and am quite please with it.

Any vynl fans should check out the Expidit book case. Mine (pictured) is in the black brown wood and is the smaller £69.00 model, there is a bigger one at £99.00 It also comes in birch and white. As you can see from the bottom shelf it is great for LP's.

Each shelf holds about 70 LP's btw.

    Cheers,
    James.

    Looks good TB!

I'd like to do something similar, but inlike you I've got a tv ;) so would prefer something double width.

What are the dimensions of the (unMOdified) lack? Is there anything MOre suitable for an AV type rack?

    118cm x 78cm x 45cm

    Perhaps too big.

Something closer to 50cm depth would be needed.

sooo... just looking at Ikea site... that's three Lack coffee tables with legs sawn to varying lengths?

Looks very nice... considerably nicer than most "proper" racks! :)

Sure is! Started out like this:

I think the new version looks better. Looks quite hi-tech.
