Hoping for a url or some coaching toward getting an M-audio usb Fast
Track Pro appliance working on a linux OS.

Any pointer to a more appropriate newsgroup is welcome... or to any
    other information about this.

My setup: Running Debian linux (wheezy)
I have m-audio (usb) Fast Track Pro plugged into a usb port
    on the machine.

The `alsamixer' reports that fasttrack is an available sound card and
that there are no (software -ed HP) controls, (Which is correct).

If I select the Fast Track Pro choice I do not get any sound when a
    wav is played.

[yes the speakers are turned on :)]
