    Hi
I have a pristine condition Mana 5 shelf amp rack for sale. There are no chips on any of the glass shelves, and no marks on the metal work. I think it's as new.
I have the box for it, as well as the box for the shelves.

I have photos available should you need to see them.

    I know a 4 shelf rack new is £585.00

    I invite offers above £400.00.

I also have a soundstage for sale. This is in good condition, but has marks on the mdf where the spikes for the above rack have been.

I invite offers over £100.00 for this item.

Collection etc is at the buyers expense. Please contact me if you require any further info.

    Hello,
Why are you selling the Mania...
Chose to replace it with something else?
Got told to replace it with something else?
    Needed the cash?

    Offers over £400?
    £585 less VAT = £500 less £50(?) p&p = £450 = less than £50 saving.
    Good luck.
    :)

    Hi Lord,
    Thanks for the maths!
    I have a 5 shelf rack.
The price i quoted new was for a four shelf rack.

I'm not sure as to the rrp of a 5 shelf rack but would guess at £685?

    Hello Andy,
Congratulations! And apologies for my misreading of your advert.
Why did you sell the Mana?

Cookiemonster - I am fascinated by the habit on this forum of quoting large chunks of other posts (normally directly above anyway!) and then following up with one line of snidey comment.
To my mind it is lazy, pointless and a little nasty. If you feel the need to reply try to avoid using the quote feature. ;)

All of Lord's posts fit all three categories. I don't know who he is, but he does appear to have brought some 'issues' along with him.

To answer Lord's question, Mr Andy's wife like the look of the Naim Fraim better than the Mana.

    :)

    Hi Devil,
U been reading posts over at the Naim forum then?!?;)

Swapping for several reasons - main one is I've ran out of space for my kit, so have decided to go modular.

I've owned Mana for a long time, and can vouch for its sonic prowess. It helped me deal with problems at my old address re a wooden floor.

However with the kit I have now (CDX2/XPS2/282/HIcap/NAPSC/180/stageline) i have run out of shelves.

I also like the sound my system gives - I have one rack of Fraim already so was able to compare it to mana.

    hope this helps..

Lazy - I try to use more than one sentence and relate it to the thread!
Pointless - I either ask questions, or try to think about questions asked before answering.
Nasty - Rarely, and only when provoked.

Andy - thanks for your answer, it fits with some comments I heard locally.
The Devil - You know that I find you objectionable, one of your more common replies is along the lines of "I don't really care" after having cared enough to post. It amuses me when you feel the need to write spiteful little posts that have nothing to do with the original question... rather like you have done here yet again.
Cookie - more cutting edge wit, beautifully worded? Maybe not.
Robbo - congratulations for adding more length to this thread through the laziest of methods - cut and paste! My advice is always free, it attempts to consider all angles and agendas and you will always be welcome to it.

I certainly bought no issues to this forum. But I did stumble across some rather singular mindsets, some cliquey little groupings and a lot of one line snidey comments.
As an outsider this is probably easier for me to see than some of you old chums. I have discovered that most useful information is contained in the top half of the first page of any thread, thereafter they degenerate into the trading of the blocks of quotes and one liners as perfectly demonstrated by CookieMonster above. If that helps some to feel that they are involved then good luck.

    Cheerio,
    Me.

    I find you objectionable

Yes I'd worked that out for myself. Why do you find me objectionable?

You are not exactly winning any great amount of admiration from me, so far at least. But I'd guess that you don't care.

    Do we know one another?

I had the above items basically on recommendation, and they once installed gave me alot more stability at normal volumes. The sound opened up more, with a deeper bass etc. It was as if some curtains had been removed from the fronts of the speakers.

It just seemed to make the system work better.

thanks. I'm not a tweaker, and co-incidentally acquired a Mana 4tier amp stand at around the time fitted carpet went in favour of oriental rug and wooden floorboards. I just wondered whether you found the extra Soundstage layer made any appreciable difference, as that's on my maybe list.

I wonder whether 'Lord' was REL? I think we should be told.

He won't like my views on subwoofers very much.
