    phillips used to own marantz a few years ago so i wouldn't be surprised if there was a bit of badge engineering going on. i believe marantz are now partners with dennon so maybe a linn classic style marantz mini system is on the cards? or not.

    I think the CDRW's were all Philips mechanism and Marantz just rebadged some themselves, all are pretty much the same.
