matching speakers for arcam a85 amplifier and arcam cd82

Any suggestions for speakers to audition for use with the above combination?
The room I have my set up in is around 9.5 foot wide, by around 18 foot long.
I would have the speakers firing across the room.
Music taste mainly van morrison, motown, soul, dire straits, eva cassidy, david gray, mainly easy listening.

Thankyou for that technobear, can only find hifi bitz that are doing them for £729.90, does anyone know any other retailers with a more competetive price?
Also, I realise I stated my room size, being narrow but longer, will this be an issue?
I guess ultimately I have to find a dealer who would loan me a pair to try.
