Found a load of brand new boxed mazda tubes in the loft. Are these worth anything, or should I bin them? I'll check the serial numbers later.

FFS don't, some of the Mazda's are supposed to be very good. In fact I know they're good because I use them in my amp. What are the serial numbers?

Thanks for the info. When I get the serial numbers I'll put an ad in ZG classifieds, with a link on this thread. I guess highest beer voucher offer secures :)

They are all brand new in original packaging. I'd say there must be about 30. There are also some massive tubes but without packaging, so I suspect they have been used.

My Dad left a ton of stuff in the loft. I don't suppose anyone would be interested in retro oscilloscopes and huge amp metres etc?

Mazda GZ34s are basically identical to Mullard GZ34s and therefore worth around £20 each, perhaps more. I imagine the same deal will apply to other Mazda-labelled valves.

I'll try and take a few photo's this weekend. There's a lot of technical items up there, which could be had for a cheap bargain. Some of the retro oscilloscopes look pretty cool, but we don't really have the room for it all.

    Yeah , bin 'em

Yes, place them in the bin outside my house please :)

I have some Mazda ECC83s which were made in the Mullard factory. NOS Mullard ECC83s can go for £50+

I'll take some pictures over the weekend, then try and post them. Will ZG host them, or do I need to find an external host?
