I had the ear mc/mm at one time, didn't like the on board transformers.

This is remarkably good, its faster in the bottom than the ear, I heard the ear had good bass, I didn't think it was that remarkable, this has good whack, too due to the regulated psu, its not that valvey, very fast, brightly lit, but makes music exciting. definately a lot better than my integrated amp.

I have 2, and am selling 1, nothing wrong with it.

Is this up for sale on ebay at the moment?

If you are indeed this seller, I like your ebay name! ;) How does this phono stage sound when playing heavy synth music? Heard quite a few phono stages in my time and been very disapointed in the 'dryness' and lack of sparkle when playing synth music (I listen to alot of Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream and obscure synthesizer muzak as well as a good deal of accoustic, classical and vocal material).
