    Selling this lot together cheap!

My Meridian transport is mint, comes with the remote and is a late model. This means it has AES/EBU aswell as standard RCA. You can run a balanced system from it if you want.

The CAL Dac doesnt need much introduction on Zerogain. Do a search on the site. I had a 'bake-off' a couple of years ago, and about 1/2 the people there prefered the presentation of the CAL dac to a Chord DAC 64.

The XLO cable is about 1/2 a metre long. I believe it was somewhere between £120-£150 when new.

If I sold them seperately I'd expect £450 for the transport, £300 for the DAC and about £50 for the digital interconnect.

Thought I'd lump them altogether for someone on PFM or ZG. £675.

Don't be cheeky and make offers, I've lowered it already. Price is for collection, Milton Keynes. You can hear it first if you want.

I can make more on Ebay selling this lot to strangers, but this is just for regular members - so 15 posts or more please.

Reason for selling, I use my squeezebox more now. Doesnt sound as good, but the conveniance aspect is outweighing the sound quality.... call myself an audiophile?... try not to...

*edit* I have the boxes in the loft.

    Hi Kmac

sorry, just seen your post. You're welcome to visit anytime. If you PM me some dates/times you might be available, I'm sure we can sort.

By the way, I can post this stuff if that's what people want.. but I always think it's better to collect hifi in person..less damage in transit etc.

very analogue sounding combo this one, makes cd's listenable IMO!

The CAL DAC is a valve DAC (through and through) and sounds great.

If you know the EAR 834P, well this does to CD what the 834P does to vinyl.

    yum yum..

A few photo's.... this is around £2,500 of stuff (at new RRP) for £650!

I'm going to whack it on ebay with a reserve of £700 if not sold by 15th Aug on ZG.

This is a giveaway price - I recently bought one of these Meridian transports alone for £500 to run with my DAC64. If only I'd waited...
