    On a serious note......

    Rhodium and palladium have been used .....can't say I've seen the others.

    The problem is cost and availability..... pure platinum must be the goal ......but currently I can afford to buy the material !

    pete can you explain why platinum is the goal.

    just because its one of the most expensive metals?

    its not as conductive as silver,

    unfortunately the more expensive the metal/conductor the better it usually sounds.... this is not just my experience other more knowledgeable have remarked on this .
