    Hi,

Did he fly over here to set your deck up? or did you fly over there to pick it up? Or do you live in Spain?

    Hi Eric,

We have met. I just thought you may have jumped ship to live in Spain.

Well done on getting the deck.

the thought has crossed my mind... especially now! but no i'm still here. impressed you remembered my name! have to admit it's on the tip of my tongue, but can't quite remember yours... we did meet about 4 years ago after all!!!

so far, the s9 is the most enjoyable recordplayer i've ever heard! it may not be totally acurate (though not far off), but it is infectious and fun! everything is just a joy on it... unless of course it isn't meant to be. i actually preferred it to the s10 back to back. the s10 is the most accurate thing i've heard but at the expense of fun. frankly especially now, i think we all need a little fun.

I think that this would be reader's wives pr0n, as this is my 'new' turntable:

I can feel the eyes of my previous mistress staring jealously from behind as I take the photo.

    Hi,

It looks like a Basis signiture turntable. Not seen one for a long time. The current Basis turntables are made from clear Acrylic.

    This is the top model.

Posh Basis too - not the more often reviewed 'cheaper' model.

It's a Basis Debut Gold Standard with an SME V and Koetsu Rosewood, a bit older than the Signature but lovely none the less - my photographic skills do not do it justice, by any means. I am awaiting a rack big and strong enough (it weighs close to 40 kilos) to accommodate it as my wall shelf is just not up to the job.
